Longtime Virtua Health Foundation Community Partner, Joseph Lacroce Foundation (formerly Carz N' Toyz), is a true friend to the children Virtua Health is privileged to serve. It has supported Child Life at Virtua Health since 2012, contributing more than $55,000 over the years, including a December 2014 gift of $35,000 to create a special Family Lounge in the lobby of the Marvin Samson Foundation Pediatrics and Pediatric Intensive Care Units at Virtua Voorhees. And every December since 2011, with a large group of volunteers on hand, Joseph Lacroce Foundation delivers thousands of special items for children to Virtua Voorhees. The toys, books, and even coats and car seats for kids in need are distributed across Virtua hospitals and outpatient facilities that serve children during the holidays and throughout the year.

In December 2016, Joseph Lacroce Foundation made it most generous commitment to the children of Virtua Health, pledging $1 million to establish a Pediatric Mobile Services unit to address the health needs of children in Camden and Burlington counties. Launched in the spring of 2018, this program provides important developmental screenings, flu shots, dental screenings, lead testing, and education to equip parents with the knowledge and resources they need to help their children grow and thrive.
