Help feed our community

Since 2017, Virtua Health’s Food Access program has provided innovative solutions to address food insecurity in communities across South Jersey. With the help of our philanthropic partners, we have impacted the lives of thousands of patients and community members by increasing access to fresh, healthy food. Unfortunately, because of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, the ability to access food for many of our neighbors has become an even greater challenge.

With the support of our generous donors, Virtua Health quickly adapted its program to ensure that those in need can continue to receive healthy, quality food from a safe, reliable source while following guidelines for social distancing. Our Mobile Farmers Market has expanded its offerings to include a variety of staple pantry items, which our team packages together and distributes to area families at no cost. We are relying on the generosity of our philanthropic partners to continue our efforts and make sure no one in South Jersey goes hungry during the COVID-19 crisis. Together, we can feed more people and have a greater impact.

To join us and help feed our community, please make a gift to our Coronavirus Emergency Response Fund. We are also happy to accept donations of non-perishable food items. If you would like to donate food items or have any questions, please contact us at
