Open to all children of Virtua Health colleagues, the Virtua Child Development Center (CDC) knows that children thrive and learn in environments that are nurturing and stimulating. Their program is designed to accommodate the development needs of each child, recognizing the importance of self-esteem, play, and the partnership between educators and parents. The CDC has been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children since the mid-1990s and offers nine individual classrooms supporting children as young as six weeks old. Located in Voorhees, they also offer a private, full-day kindergarten.

Beginning in 2018, the staff, teachers and parent community of the CDC host an annual benefit for Camp Oasis. This family fun day has a festival atmosphere featuring a basket raffle, moon bounce, delicious food, music and more. Virtua’s Camp Oasis, a one-day getaway offered twice a year for South Jersey children who have a parent or loved one battling cancer, is a natural fit for the CDC family, which is always focused on providing the best opportunities for local children.

The first-ever CDC Benefit for Camp Oasis raised nearly $14,000 to support Camp Oasis!
