Virtua Memorial Auxilians

Ambassadors for Virtua in the
communities we serve.

The Auxiliary Board to Virtua Memorial is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to supporting Virtua Memorial, a regional medical center in Mount Holly, NJ, and the patients and families it serves through volunteerism, fundraising, advocacy and outreach. Serving as ambassadors in the community for more than 60 years, auxilians have established a legacy of service at Virtua that continues today.

The auxiliaries organize a variety of fundraising events open to the community, with proceeds directly benefiting programs and services at Virtua Memorial. Well known events include the annual Virtua Memorial Auxiliary 5k and 1-mile Fun Walk and the Cooks Tour of Moorestown.

The board is comprised of four member auxiliaries, located in the surrounding Burlington County communities served by the hospital. It also operates a thrift shop in Westampton, NJ that accepts donations of clothing and home goods.

2015 Campaign

In 2015, all funds raised by the auxiliary will support renovations to the Radiation Oncology suite at Virtua Memorial. This facility is widely used by members of the community through the Virtua Cancer Program. These renovations are vital to providing a healing, comfortable environment for patients and their families. The auxiliary board has contributed more than $316,000 since fundraising for the project begin in 2013.

The board later changed its name to the Auxiliary Board to Virtua Memorial to reflect the hospital's affiliation with Virtua in 1998.
